The double-impact for zero-conflict course schedule management

Across the entire education sector, there are two major challenges: Creating a class timetable that is conflict-free, and –particularly in the case of universities and colleges-- resolving any conflicts that may occur during the course registration process. These two challenges are a well-known concerns in both the K-12 as well as on the higher-education levels, although with varying circumstances and magnitude.

Even as students, nearly all of us have been through the struggle of having to register for two courses only to find out that they overlap, or even take place at the exact same time. It is thus no question that this problem causes a hindrance to the overall efficiency and smoothness of the educational process. But how do you solve it?

Can technology really help with student affairs?

All this talk about technology is getting more real than ever. With a pandemic in our midst, everybody is now keen to give technological solutions a chance. As one of the best options we have right now, many sectors are now implementing tech options when it comes to operations, one of which includes the education sector.

Once back-to-school becomes a thing again, many people are wondering how exactly the learning process will be like? We can only expect the help of technology and a blended learning appeal to be adopted, but one question remains, which is how effective will it be for the students?

How blended learning will change our education system

Since the start of coronavirus and with a pandemic in our midst, we have constantly been becoming more aware of the presence of online learning and the use of technology to practice social distancing. As more schools are conducting online classes, educational institutions are depending on these types of methods to help them get through times of uncertainty.

Now, with people trying to adopt the new normal, many schools and other education institutes are gathering methods to ready their students for the year or semesters. There has been constant talk about adopting a blended learning style in dealing with the new normal, so will this be it? Are we forced to live in a world where blended learning is the new normal?
